Your Questions, Answered
-
We are asked this question often, and with our veterinary backgrounds, we understand just how overwhelming the process can feel. From scammers and puppy farms to large scale breeders, inexperienced breeders, and those motivated purely by profit, it can be incredibly difficult to know who to trust. A polished website alone does not always reflect the quality, ethics, or expertise behind a breeding program.
Choosing the right breeder is one of the most important decisions you will make when welcoming a new puppy into your family. It is essential to look for a professional breeder with genuine qualifications, extensive experience, and a strong commitment to producing healthy, well tempered puppies. Breeders who invest heavily in health testing, temperament assessment, ethical breeding practices, and lifelong support are far more likely to provide you with a healthy, well suited companion.
Look for a breeder who communicates openly, answers your questions honestly, prioritises the wellbeing of both their dogs and their families, and can confidently support their claims with evidence. Referrals, reviews, and testimonials from previous families can also be incredibly valuable. Ultimately, you want a breeder you can trust, one who is committed not just to breeding beautiful puppies, but to giving you the very best chance of a long, happy life with your new family member.

Our program has been running for 21 years, making us one of the original Australian Labradoodle breeders in NSW. With more than two decades of health and temperament testing behind our lines, we have an in depth understanding of our dogs’ backgrounds, genetics, and development.
Our experience allows us to breed from carefully selected Australian Labradoodles with reliable, consistent traits. We are known for excellent health, wonderful temperaments, beautiful fleece coats, and the gorgeous looks families love.

Jim is a NSW registered veterinarian, and Kate is a qualified veterinary nurse. Together, we are the only veterinarian and vet nurse team in Australia breeding Australian Labradoodles.
What does this mean for you? Your future puppy is raised by qualified veterinary professionals with the knowledge, experience, and skills to carefully assess health and temperament every day from birth. This professional expertise provides an added level of care, insight, and reassurance that most breeders simply cannot offer.

No, all of our breeding dogs live in carefully selected guardian homes where they are loved and raised as family pets. They return to us only for breeding purposes.

Absolutely. All of our puppies receive their first C3 vaccination and kennel cough vaccination before going home.
They are wormed at 2, 4, and 6 weeks of age, and are also given NexGard Spectra prior to leaving for their new families. Every puppy is microchipped, with their details entered into the NSW Pet Registry before they go home.

We offer a lifetime guarantee against genetic illness, as well as a guarantee that your puppy will be in sound health when they go home.
Unlike many puppies who may only receive a single vet check at six weeks, our puppies benefit from weekly veterinary checks, along with informal daily health assessments from birth. We also provide six weeks of complimentary Trupanion health insurance to support your puppy’s transition into their new home.

As all of our puppies are required to be desexed, there is generally no significant difference in temperament between males and females.
What matters most to us is carefully matching each puppy’s individual temperament to the unique lifestyle, needs, and family circumstances of their future home. This helps ensure you are matched with the puppy best suited to your family.
With our veterinary backgrounds, along with Kate’s experience in puppy preschool, each puppy is professionally assessed as they grow, allowing us to make thoughtful, informed temperament matches.

We exclusively breed fleece coat Australian Labradoodles, and all of our dogs are fully furnished. Fully furnished means they carry the desirable facial furnishings Labradoodles are known for, including their soft beard, eyebrows, and fluffy face, rather than a flat or smooth coat. This helps give our puppies the beautiful, teddy bear style appearance families know and love.
